September 22, 2007:
Working brake ducts
The GP has cool looking, but non-functional, brake ducts in the lower front bumper … Gary, owner of GP0076, recently completed modifications on his GP to make them functional, and has kindly provided pictures (see the Gallery, also see write-ups on the GP owners forum and on NorthAmericanMotoring).
The brake ducts were purchased by Gary from Way Motor Works, and installed by Lucky Dog Garage.
The ducts, leading back from the front bumper:

The ducts, aimed at the brakes, cut through the wheel well shield:

The front brake duct air intake, now functional:

Finished car – subtle change, but functional:

Well done Gary, very nice & tidy install!

Shouldn’t you be congratulating LDG on the install?
jcwgp (2007/09/23 @ 12:17 pm)
nicely done. glad they were able to preserve the silver intakes.

Yeah, LDG did a nice job. I wish they were closer to me.
Now, it looks like it could use some sort of flexible ducting from that outlet in the wheel well directly to the rotors. Who’s up for engineering that?

Nice, what discs are you running there?
