Autoweek still likes the GP

Autoweeks review of the GP back in July was generally favourable, though they seemed to think it wasn’t the bargain that it actually is ;)

However, this Autoweek Drivers Log article tells a more positive story:
… The Cooper S began to wander around the track just a little when I pushed it up over triple-digit speeds, but the GP felt as sure of itself as a delusional world leader—and maybe just as powerful … I was left wondering why Mini waited to the very end of the car’s model cycle to bring out this version. And why produce it in such limited numbers (only 415 were sold in the U.S.; it’s too late to get one …
