I was just looking for a pre-delivery weight statement, maybe from Stracco, when i saw this. I just went to the scales and mine came in at 2525 with just a smidge of gas in the tank.
As to the Badge, grill badges are a very old tradition and of course go on the badge holder in front. I figured it would also be easier to keep as a momento if/when I let the GP go.

I like it and you earned it!

Good spot! Some I’ve seen on the front badge holder, it doesn’t really fit there.

Now you make me think about where I should put mine. Hmmmm

Have you had or do you know how much the car weighs?
Ian C. (2006/09/11 @ 6:37 pm)
Certificate of Origin says shipping weight 2580lbs so I’m assuming that’s what the car weighs …

Very interesting, Jeff!
And I have spare badges should GPMINI ever leave me

Yup I know it’s a tradition but it looks awkward, on the holder, and one could always peel it off or customize the holder… IMHO.
How does that weight compare to the regular S?
Ian C. (2006/09/14 @ 2:17 pm)
I think the GP is about 100lbs lighter than a regular MCS with no sunroof, with 16″ wheels, manual transmission, etc.
